Bloomfield Barbell Club

 

The second cycle of the Bloomfield Barbell Club begins October 19. Our first group have all seen amazing strength gains and grown into confident, powerful lifters.

We want to get you strong, and we’re going to do so with a heavy barbell and basic human movement patterns; the squat, deadlift, bench press and shoulder press, plus a few accessory movements.

The Bloomfield Barbell Club will consist of the following:

  • Two 90 minute classes per week, plus optional third day programming.
  • Small group training with individualized programming and tracking of your progress.
  • Consistent and methodical training of the powerlifts, using a linear progression of weight.
  • The cycle will culminate in a CrossFit Total.
  • PRs!
  • A guide on how to eat to support strength training.
  • Mobility tips to improve movement quality.

Intermediate programming is also offered for those that have already completed a cycle.

Who: The program is suitable for all lifters and is perfect for those looking to develop a strong foundation, as well as more advanced lifters who are looking for structure and results. Programming will be individualized to suit your needs.

You will have the option of doing the Barbell Club exclusively or in tandem with CrossFit classes. You can choose to adjust your CrossFit membership to a punch card or two day a week package if you wish to continue CrossFit classes. To maximize strength gains, we do not recommend you WOD more than 2 times per week while on the program.
