  • 1. Age and Occupation: 
I am 39 years old and I stay at home with my 3 kids (8,6, and 4).
  • 2. How long have you been doing Crossfit?
I have been doing Crossfit for just over 2 years now.
  • 3. Why do you Crossfit?
When I first started, I did it because my husband wanted me to give it a try.  But after starting, I absolutely fell in love!!!  The reason I Crossfit is multi-faceted.  1. I love the community and the coaching!  Not to mention the owners of our box like totally rock!!!!!  2. I love the discipline of getting and staying as fit and as healthy as possible.  The discipline spills into every aspect of my life and has truly been life changing!!!!!  3. I love how the workouts are a full range of movements that build cardio as well as strength that are functional and challenging!!!!  Combining Olympic weight lifting, gymnastics, plyo and isometrics, endurance and quick bursts, it changes everyday and keeps me on my toes.  It is never boring and I am always challenged to do better and to push to see what I am capable of!
  • 4. What is your favorite movement?
I would have to say the power clean!  My most confident lift.
  • 5. What is your least favorite movement?
I would have to say the deadlift
  • 6. Do you follow a diet?  
I just eat as  healthy as I can.  Low fats, solid protein and good carbs (ok, sometimes the occasional yummy asiago cheese bagel!!).  My favorite is a big salad with tuna and homemade dressing.  I love my protein shakes post workouts and MOTO bars/ballz in morning or as a snack.
  • 7. What are your short term goals?
I want to be able to do 2 strict pull ups unbroken, snatch 85lbs (Hannah achieved this goal just this morning so now it’s 90lb!) and push jerk 135lbs.
  • 8. What are your long term goals?
I might want to do a competition sometime in the future…
  • 9. What is your biggest achievement in CrossFit
I have to say DISCIPLINE and actually wearing a bikini (and feeling good in it) for the first time ever!!!!
  • 10. If there was a WOD named after you, what would it be?
Oh man, good question.
Some sort of chipper or a variation of filthy 50.
